Took my 2003 Tahoe in for service when the AC stopped working and was told it needed a new compressor. Cost of about $1500 as I recall. Two days later I was back and telling them that the vehicle didn't sound right. After waiting 2 hours I was informed that the noise they thought I was complaining about was coming from the AC vents and they had cleaned some leaves out of the AC blower motor and I owed them $130 for that service which I didn't ask for. One week later I had to go back because the ""new"" compressor had failed. This was obviously the noise I heard two days after the first visit but they were more concerned with coming up with new charges rather than checking on the work they had done 2 days earlier. After putting in another compressor they informed me that it was also defective and I had to wait for them to get a third. I have serious doubts that they replaced anything the first time.\r \r Next visit was when one day I looked down at my instrument panel while on the interstate and discovered that every one of my gauges was at zero. The next morning before getting it to Service the gauges came on but with crazy readings when idle. I waited and Best Service Rep came out and informed me that my entire instrument cluster was bad and had to be replaced. In addition they would have to order the part and I had to pay over $400 for it before they would even order it. AFTER paying and getting in the vehicle to leave I discovered that the entire instrument cluster was working perfectly. Now over a year later it is still working perfectly. OBVIOUSLY there was a simple loose connection which the mechanic reseated while investigating. Of course I got the ""no refunds on special order parts"" line so they got to keep that money but there was no way in hell I was going to go back for them to replace a perfectly good part just so they could bill me for labor.\r \r Most recent visit came when the vehicle suddenly died while driving and wouldn't even try to crank even though the battery and electronics were fine. This time I've been told that the fuel pump has to be replaced and with labor it will cost $1200. Then in the same call they tried to pile on a bunch of other ""recommended"" items that was going to push the bill up over $1800!\r \r Bottom line is that I simply do not trust these people as professionals. I also find it suspicious that if you look at all the glowing reviews on their website you will notice that there hasn't been a single review posted in the last 5 months.
