We had a great experience with Ed at Floorcrafters. Installing and refinishing new floors is such a major commitment financially and to the life of the house that we literally interviewed 6 companies. The most knowledgeble by far was this one-- they were able to help us choose every detail, from kind of wood to color of stain to gloss of finish, fillers, the whole works, so we ended up getting the floor we dreamed of but couldn't have imagined beforehand. Given the range of price options we looked at this was in the middle.\r

I wanted tile in the kitchen and baths and a transition to oak for the rest of the rooms. They did both the tile and the wood.\r

My questions and concerns were addressed promptly -- I didn't have any customer service issues though I found that if you call in the afternoon you'll get more attention than if you call in the morning. I have nothing but a glowing review. I like using a local business. It's a big investment so worth taking the time to find someone who will talk to you at length and be available by phone thru the day.
