Review content:
Go to California Closets instead!\r \r We decided to work with TransFORM after considering a number of the larger closet companies because we wanted to support a local business. We also liked the quality of the offering in their showroom, and the enthusiasm of ""the Jill & Stacey team."" However, after a problem with the installation of our closet, our customer service experience went dramatically south.\r \r After installation, we received a follow up call from Jill about our experience. We indicated that we had an issue with the product and installation, but received no follow up. Only after completing a (very negative) customer survey did we hear back again. The response, unfortunately, was completely unhelpful: not an assumption of responsibility, or an acknowledgment that they had created a non-functional space, but instead a series of excuses. TransFORM's ultimate proposed ""solution"" to our concerns was not to correct their own error, but to offer a low-cost Band-Aid in an attempt to pacify us. \r \r Our particular project involved a somewhat irregularly shaped closet space in the attic. After numerous conversations about maximizing space, our design team came up with what seemed like a simple, efficient design, but their measurements were off by (literally) 50%. This left us with a closet where items fall off the top shelf into wasted ""dead space."" \r \r What was most disappointing about all of this was the failure to take ownership of a simple error in measurement. Shame on us for not double-checking the measurements of the so-called design professionals -- and giving TransFORM the opportunity to attempt to pin responsibility on us. \r \r And so we're left with bitterness from an unhelpful and condescending sales team and a bad customer service experience, and with a non-functional and over-priced closet space. \r \r After a complete renovation of our home, and working with multiple contractors and service providers, our experience with TransFORM stands out as the worst among them -- by a mile. \r \r Don't be drawn in by a desire to work with a local company unless you're convinced that it will translate into real customer service. Unfortunately, with TransFORM and the team of Jill & Stacey, that will prove not to be the case. \r \r
