I am APPALLED with Door Pro America!!!\r \r We contacted Door Pro America through what we considered to be a reputable referral. Door Pro America came to our house, provided us with what appeared to be a reasonable quote and timeline for the installation to be completed, three weeks. We were told we would be contacted. At the end of the three week window, we finally contacted the company due to the fact they had not called to set up an installation appointment or to inform us there would be a delay. When we spoke they told us they would not be able to schedule an installation appointment for the next two weeks. After a great deal of negotiating, we agreed on the following Friday (still over one week away). The Thursday evening before our scheduled appointment we received a call at 4:30. I called back a few minutes later to be told they were not going to be out to complete the installation the following day, that the crews Door Pro America has scheduled on Fridays are only one person crews and our installation would require a two person crew. Frustrated, we rescheduled for the following Monday. Monday there was a snow fall overnight (4 inches) that had ended early morning, though this was enough to cause Door Pro America to close. \r \r No one contacted us to inform us the installation would not be taking place, we called Monday to find out if anyone would be arriving and heard nothing back until Tuesday about 9:30am. When we spoke they assured us they would be over Wednesday morning and we would be the crews first stop of the day. At 9:00am we called the company and learned the crew was already at their first stop and they should arrive at our house no later than 10:30am. At this time we requested a manager call us back at their convenience. At 10:30am we called again and spoke with the manager, Brad. We informed him about how our case had been handled, we informed him about our disappointment and frustration. He listened, and at the end assured me they were closed due to snow on Monday and that he would contact the crew after we hung up to assure they'd be to the house at Noon. He made no apologies for the manner in which my case was handled, no promises or assurances that the people responsible for scheduling would be spoken with about the situation. He informed me that the crew that would be arriving would be professionals and do a good job installing our new door. After this quick exchange Brad simply tried to get me off the phone as quickly as possible without any offer of true condolences or even a basic apology.
