I took my car to Rick Johnson on Bay Shore to get some work done a couple of months ago which included the oil change. My car was making a noise after about 3 weeks like the lifters ect. my husband said it feels warm he checked my oil it was low as well as we smelled a burning smell so I took it to a different place to have oil changed. The oil was not even shown, and was black!!! No leaks what so ever. I wasn't even due for an oil change yet my mileage was under. According to where I took it that oil had never been changed. I thought we could trust them , Never again. I am so sorry there are crooked mechanics who feel they need to take advantage of others to make a dime to make their budgets and keep their jobs. This falls back on their owner.
