I have been a customer for many years. This store used to be a great place to shop for the little household items. It's a five and dime type of shop. Nothing glamorous mostly ""seconds"" type stuff or things that have been rejected for little things like wrong labels etc. It's by no means a high end shop but for cleaning supplies, light bulbs throw blankets and throw pillows its great. However in the last year after more than 10 years being a patron I have noticed a great decline in not only the products (I was sold a heater that didn't work at all although they did exchange it they had a bad attitude) but also there has been a decline in the way they treat customers. They seem to hire mostly Hispanics-and that's fine with me as I used to live in Mexico and Arizona; so I feel right at home, but I must say I feel a definite reverse prejudice when dealing with their staff. I don't like prejudice no matter who is committing it. Then on top of all this last week I was treated very nasty by the cashier when I mistakenly gave her the wrong debit card and she remained nasty even after I gave the correct card . Then this week I stopped in and bought one throw blanket , one set of sheets and one set of extra pillowcases. The cashier kind of hurried me out even passing me my packages from another store over the counter ( you have to leave your bags at the counter to prevent shop lifting but they usually wait for you to retrieve them on your way out) Anyway I didn't notice she had charged me twice for the ONE blanket and looking back at her rushing me and at her general demeanor I would guess she knew full well she had just robbed me!! They sure make sure that people don't rob them though!! Anyway I didnt notice the double charge till I got home so now I'm stuck--something I am sure this cashier was counting on. However I did catch it in any event and they just lost a good customer . I've had it with them treating the American customers like crap, being made to leave my bags with people who are STEALING from me and the shoddy merchandise lately. BUYER BEWARE in this store. I also want to say I have seen these same reviews that are posted here over and over which makes me suspect that they are generated from either the owners or their less than honest employees. Spend a little more elsewhere but get you'll get better stuff and be treated fair.
