First of all the price was way out of line - I had to call the office to get them to tell the operator to lower the price. They told me that he was there "most honest" technician! Does that mean they employ less than honest people. My carpets did not come out as clean as I had hope and they did nothing to try to remove the stains. We would have had to pay more. My husband actually does a better job with a rental rug cleaner!

Hello this is Tim O. owner of TNT Chem-Dry and I am sorry to hear of your disappointment of the end result of the cleaning. I do want to clarify and feel compelled to respond to the "most honest technician" comment. Your technician that day is someone who has worked with us for almost seven years and is a senior 5 star tech, he is someone that we trust to handle any situation and can make good decisions because of his experience and yes he is our most trusted technician because of his time working with our company. Our other technicians are honest hard working gentleman as well and can be trusted completely but if a problem does surface they are more inclined to call into the office for advice which we expect them to do. So the phrase "honest technician" I think was a bad choice of words perhaps, we have a very stringent hiring process finding the right people to do this kind of work, it is not easy but we feel we have the best technicians in Nashville. Without going into detail your situation was difficult because of the condition of the carpet, our recommendations of what needed to be done and the amount of work that was involved. We gave our technician the option of doing the job or walking away knowing he would make a good decision because of his years of experience. Unfortunately at times there is only so much we can do in some situations as carpet replacement might have been a better, much more expensive option.
