My insurance company recommended Bidwell 2 1/2 years ago because our family room was leaking. Bidwell came out to repair the leak by replacing the roof and painting. A few months after the initial repair, we were experiencing the same issues. After several unanswered calls Bidwell finally came out and "repaired" the problem. The following year we experienced the same leakage in the same area. Bidwell sent out a new person to examine the issue and make the necessary "repairs." Needless to say we are now experience the same issue with leakage in the
same area. After trying to get in contact with Bidwell for over a month, Mike finally came out to inspect. Upon his quick (less than 5min) inspection he determined that the problem was not the roof but the siding and or window unit above the roof. He explained that his guys told him this several times before making the repairs but, "I didn't believe them." That was unsettling to me because why would you send out contractors if you don't trust their expertise. He then began to tell us that our insurance will cover it if we had someone else to come out. I accepted that the issue may not be the roof but could not understand why they would replace our roof initially if that was not the problem. Upon asking that question Mike's attitude changed drastically. He said, "we will not repair your ceiling or anything else... We are no longer responsible now that I have determined the root of the problem." I explained to him that this should have been inspected before spending $10000 on a roof. I explained that our initial complaint was that our family room was leaking and we didn't know why. We hired Bidwell (experts) to figure out the cause of the leak. bidwell told us on several occasions that they had fixed the problem. Not one time did anyone from Bidwell mention the possibility of the leak being anything other than a roofing problem. Mike was extremely rude to me and yelled at me in my home all the way out the door.
