Review content:
One star is being nice considering how awful my visit was. It started out fine; friendly staff, clean salon and then i met my stylist. The service: i got a men's haircut that looked like it took less than 15 minutes (which, to my understanding, is the time limit at this salon). A fade isn't the most complicated haircut, especially when using numbered guards. However, i had long hairs jutting out in awkward places, the blending was off and looked like it was stepped, and the finger length trim on top was so crooked. The price: I'll admit, cheap is good. But not when what you get looks cheap. The competence: I'm not completely educated in the technicalities of men's barbering, but I shouldn't be able to do a better job myself. The fun factor: I was honestly so distracted by the unprofessional attire and appearance of my stylist. Tattoos and piercings are a form of self expression, i get it, but she took the cake. And whatever happened to a blouse and dress pants? Animal print leggings and black boots covered in spikes look very unprofessional to me. Overall, I regret going here. I've heard good things, I guess I just got stuck with the wrong salon "professional". I suppose I'm writing this to disuade others from going to Jolie, because man, did she jack my hair up.
