Review content:
Find a trustworthy bank where they own their mistakes and don't try and get your hard earned money away from you. Had 4 Wells accounts, 2 checking, 2 savings. Experience in calif was good, but not so here in Poulsbo. The attitude is ""catch us if you can, buyer beware."" They have made mistakes with deposits and do not take responsibility if you don't catch them right away. Their system allows you to use a debit card for one account, but they see all accounts you have, and can drop deposit in wrong place, which they have done. How would customer know they could misapply so easily? \r Upon mother in laws passing, after I distributed funds, they set up an account for us in our name with remaining funds. No discussion, just emulated old account that mother in law had. In 1&1/2 years the total interest on 25+k was less than $2.00. The minute the balance went under the 25k, they started charging $30. Monthly fee. They say we ""qualified"" for this type account. (What, a fleecing?) But didn't bother to ask. I'm sure someone got credit in a sales contest. They say ""but it had advantages."" For who? We Never used any of the benefits, didn't even know. Account like what we set up in Calif is what we were expecting. They have money of ours they are keeping because we did not ""catch"" them in time. We have hard feelings. So go where the ethics of local branch employees match those stated by the CEO on the corp website.
