Just the BEST!!! – What is the sincerest form of acknowledging a person to be excellent in his line of work? Making a referral to your friends and family.\r
\r
My wife and I came out to the Lake Tahoe area in the early 90's for the purpose of buying a second home. We did not know a sole out there, other than a friend that also had a house in Florida and established a second home in Incline Village. Upon his recommendation, we called Alvin.\r
\r
He always made time for us. We were pretty finicky about price range, location, size, etc. Although we insisted on seeing quite a few homes, Alvin was always well prepared, always drove us around, and got to know our likes and dislikes.\r
\r
One day he called us and said a house just came on the market that day that he thought would be THE ONE. He was right. We gave our written bid and check to the seller that day. I should mention that we put in another written bid prior to this one. Alvin takes the position that a written submission means that the buyer is more serious in his attempt to buy.\r
\r
Years later, Alvin found a buyer for us when we thought it was time to sell. I have made several referrals to him throughout the years. I know I won't have to apologize to these people since Alvin simply is...THE BEST.\r
\r
We are still emailing and phoning each other on a regular basis. Isn't that what friends do?
