Several years ago, I worked with a young woman who had seen Dr. Shapiro for multiple procedures. I thought she looked great and she raved about him. So, I went in for a facelift and some fat injections under my eyes and on my jaw line. Dr. Shapiro was very good about helping me see what I was going to look like visually by explaining it and showing me pictures and things like that. I felt confident with him. He had a clear understanding of what I wanted done, and he also kind of looked at me like an artist would and made a few suggestions and explained why he thought I would be happy with those things. I wouldn't have seen little things that he pointed out would make an improvement, which I’m ecstatic about. I'm very, very happy with everything he did with my face. It’s scary, I mean, this was my first go with this so I didn't really know what to expect, but they were really good about explaining what to expect at each phase. They tell you at what point you’ll be comfortable going out in public and at what point you’ll be able to wear makeup, and that kind of thing. So, it’s been just as they said it would be, not difficult at all. Thankfully, I haven't had any bumps. I literally had no pain but I did have a fair amount of swelling, which was normal. He did a fairly substantial face lift and some muscle reduction on my jaw line. It was nothing horrific though. I would encourage anybody that is thinking about a procedure to come in for a consultation because Dr. Shapiro is very good about answering questions and giving you the information you need to make a good decision. Dr. Shapiro is very gifted and I’m so happy I did this.
