My friend invited me to one of the open houses at Dancesport. I took a free salsa class and stayed for the party that followed. I was pretty nervous about staying because I didn't think anyone would dance with me, but I ended up dancing so much my feet were killing me at the end of the night! There were many instructors who came up and asked me to dance! I didn't think I was that good of the dancer lol. But it was so much fun and they made me feel comfortable. The performances were awesome, I felt like I was watching Dancing with the Stars. The studio is very big and has many different classes going on and so many different styles of dances I never even heard of. Makes it hard to choose what to start with. They also have a cafe and a full service bar. thumbs way way up for that one! 3 glasses of sangria and I'm definitely a more amazing dancer than when I came in. It's also a great place to meet people, especially since everyone is so friendly. There are also parties every night to practice what you learned in class, and though I don't know all the dances, the teachers and fellow class mates are all very friendly and eager to dance with you.\r \r It has been a great experience so far and this has definitely turned into my new addiction.
