My reply is a little bit late, given the dates on the postings, but I would absolutely agree that Ken Turing of Budget Blinds here in Southern Maryland is great to work with and I would definitely recommend him. He is very professional, shows up on time, and is very knowledgeable. We have used him for three rooms over two different time periots - for Hunter Douglas products, custom wooden blinds, and some custom fabric roman shades. I would also note that while Budget Blinds offers some nice promotions (if you are looking for a larger product, I would recommend waiting until a coupon hits your mailbox), there are definitely some pricey options they carry as well. I have found that if you are candid upfront about your price range, Ken will advise you in the right direction as well. One thing to note - they can also help you with custom pillows, etc. For example, we ordered some custom pillows that match our roman shades - a really nice touch that I wasn't aware they offered.
