I was a kennel tech at the Petland on George Busbee Dr for about two months. I had to quit shortly after being hired because the absolutely horrid conditions the dogs were in and the way they were treated. However, that is an whole different subject entirely. Petland uses Dr. Waller from Abundant Animal Care as their vet and refers all of their customers to him. I have had the unpleasant experience of working with him directly. HE HAS ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT HE IS DOING. He commonly prescribes random drugs to dogs after a very quick and haphazard examination. Many customers would call Petland and complain to me because, after leaving their dogs in the care of Dr. Waller, the dog would only progressively get sicker. This is because Dr. Waller is terrible at diagnosing and treating every illness besides kennel cough. He doesn't even know how to cut a dogs nails! I asked him to assist me one time and he ended up causing the poor dog to bleed continually for 45 minutes! I see that most of the good reviews say that he is cheap. But please, keep in mind before scheduling an appointment for your pet there: you get what you pay for.
