I'm shocked to see the negative reviews. I have been eating here for twenty years and only had one meal I didn't enjoy. I don't like tarragon and the dish I ordered had an overwhelming taste of it. My husband loved it so we traded entrees.I've watched trendy eateries in Royal Oak be jammed with long waits to be seated only to have over priced mediocre food. Inevitably I go one mile east to Boodles usually get seated immediately and have a superb meal in a cozy welcoming atmosphere. The raspberry vinaigrette is sensational , If you like blue cheese they will add it for a small price. It's a perfect blend of salty and sweet . I have had all of the seafood entrees and most of the chicken. All were wonderful. I worked for a French chef, a graduate of the Culinary School of America. I can't find fault with Boodles. There have been different chefs working there and I could taste the difference in some of the dishes I usually order. Different but not bad. I plan on having my husband's 60th birthday celebration there soon. I know it will be great as always.
