Never again will I step one foot in that door. This isn't the first time I've been treated poorly. I had forgotten about how the staff follows you around constantly, giving you the feeling they don't trust you, which in and of itself is annoying. This past December I was looking for stocking stuffers. I was asked by 3 different people if I needed help, which I kindly said I did not. One of them came back again and asked if I had a list of items I was looking to buy, and then stood near me pretending to straighten items hanging on the wall. I once again said I was just looking. I purchased 2 items: a foil cutter, which broke after 2 uses. The other item was for my son, who did not want it. Today I attempted to return it. Heaven forbid I return a $5.95 item without a receipt. First of all, I used a credit card and the older lady told me they're not set up to look up a purchase. She was not friendly or professional; the teenager behind the counter looked at me like he was embarrassed. I mentioned the item was $6 and she abruptly said no, without a receipt she would not take it back. I was forced to return home and dig up the receipt. I did return it, and vowed to post my review after having such unprofessional service. I try to buy locally when possible. It's not a secret that you can purchase anything online and not pay shipping. Evidently, NWC doesn't realize that customer service is important. I shop in that strip mall quite often, and will never ever return to that store. I'm quite surprised they're still in business, given that their prices are too high, and service is substandard.
