I would give a 1 star review; however, service in the past prevents me from doing so. My last visit to the Azusa CVS pharmacy on Foothill Blvd was Friday, 1/17/14 around 6pm. The purpose of my visit was to pick-up a prescription that was supposed to be ready by the time I arrived. I waited nearly 20 minutes observing only 1 cashier while the rest of the staff behind the counter chatted amongst themselves. By the time I arrived to the front, I thought that I would be able to pay for my medication. Not the case at all. The cashier proceeds to tell me that they needed my insurance card in order to refill the prescription. Um, hello? Why wasn't this told to me when I called to refill the prescription? The cashier tells me it'll take a few more minutes. Another 20 minutes pass by, my name was called to pick up the prescription and there is nobody at the counter to ring me up. There is a line of 6 people, 1 cashier assisting a customer in cutting pills and several employees behind the counter who could've easily assisted. I ended up walking out of there and transferring my prescription to another CVS on Citrus. After accessing Yelp and seeing the reviews for the CVS Citrus location as bad as the one on Foothill, I've gone ahead and switched to Walgreens. Let's hope this company will provide better service.
