Review content:
Two weeks ago my husband hurt his back BAD. He didn't have to go back to work for a few days, so he figured a few days of rest, and a few massages would make him well again. But after working only half the day, it became clear he needed medical attention. The pain was increasingly unbearable; radiating from his lower back, causing his left leg complete numbness. Because it was the weekend, the emergency room was the only option. They took an x-ray to rule out broken bones, gave him a shot and strong pain killers and sent him home to rest for a week, and to see his primary doctor in 3 days. He'd have a better shot at dying, than being seen by our primary without an appointment. So first thing Monday, I searched for the nearest Chiropractor. Dr. Carter had a very busy schedule that day, and his receptionist was out with the flu; but still agreed to see him after his last appointment. Anyone under the weather knows the value of warm, compassionate care when they are at their most vulnerable. Dr. Carter took such good care of him, no rush, no hurries. His bedside manner was EVERYTHING. After only two visits, relief was in sight. Between an emergency room at the height of the flu season, and an overbooked primary; Dr. Carter was all the medicine my husband needed. He was like finding a needle in the haystack. You can find care in his name, his technique and his office. He's a good person. And a magnificent doctor.
