Review content:
I would not personally recommend Carlson All Appliance. Have a frig/freezer that stopped working. Carlson came out, told me I needed a new circuit board, and provided a cost to repair of $469.00. Not being in a position to check around on pricing, given that my family needed the frig repaired, I agreed. A new board was installed (appeared to be a very simple repair) and the coils vacuumed (also pretty simple). The guy was in and out in short order. Recently discovered that a new circuit board costs between $149 and $169. Thus, mark-up, overhead, and labor was about $300!! In my personal opinion, the price was excessive. \r \r Sent a letter to Carlson expressing my dissatisfaction and giving them an opportunity to respond. Received a patronizing response that included a threat not to post negative reviews. Not the type of company I want to give my business to.
