Businiess name:  Ficocello's Hair Salons

Review content:
\r At Ficocello's at each appointment I advise my stylists the same thing: I want my hair to be a classy and pretty blonde, not a bleach bottle blonde. Because hair color and its beauty are subjective, I have posted photos of some results. The above photos are from different stylists that have worked at Ficocello's and continue to be employed there as of January of 2014. \r \r Photograph 1:\r Stylist: N (first initial only)\r -Top of head black roots are present\r -What is supposed to be highlights is all over color around face only\r -Hair around the face is several shades lighter than the rest of the hair\r -Service requested was a full foil, which means the hair should have evenly placed highlights throughout the whole head of hair. This was not a partial foil. \r -In attempt to bleach the fine dark baby hairs around the face, the stylist painted bleach throughout the front third of the hair, rather than lightly painting bleach on a very tiny area of darkness at the temples \r \r (Went to the advanced training center to correct this problem. Was charged for both services, even though the lead worker there agreed there was a significant problem with this service and needed to speak to the stylist about it. I didn't say anything and just paid the bill and tip again.) Thank you Sharon for doing a good job correcting this problem.\r \r Photographs 2 and 4: \r Sylist: A (first initial only)\r Dark spots left on the back of my hair from (I believe) the person sitting next to me who was having her hair dyed brown. She had her dye rinsed out in the sink right before me. I believe her hair dye ended up left on the neck area of the sink (which was not thoroughly cleaned by her stylist and not checked by my stylist?) and which my neck then rested on after having my foils removed and some touch up work done at the sink. There was no neck towel there. Immediately upon leaving Ficocello's two hair stylists pointed out the problem with the dye on my hair. I contacted Ficocello's to have the problem corrected and was advised they would see me on Saturday, which was three to four days later and after a job interview that I had told my stylist about…the reason for my visit that day. \r \r Photograph 3: Chemical burn on the left side of my forehead from bleach left on the skin too long.\r \r Tips: 1. Mistakes made by stylists should be corrected gratis. The client shouldn't pay for the initial service AND the correction. Excellent customer service would suggest that the client should pay for neither because of the inconvenience. However, paying for one of the two services is acceptable. 2. When a client has a significant problem, such as dye from another's hair color dyed onto their hair, the correction should be treated with urgency and the client should be seen as soon as possible, not at the stylist's convenience or next available opening. 3. No client should be yelled at by a receptionist or stylist for any reason. Ever. \r \r I have had other experiences at Ficocello's Salon which should be documented here, but I don't have photos, so I won't comment further. \r \r \r \r \r \r
