Stopped there with friends on the way back to Seattle from Yakima after a long drive (we were all hungry and tired!). We were two couples with three children. Asked the hostess if it would be ok to bring the children in as the place seemed quiet. She said of-course. After we were seated, my two year old son was fussing and I went out to the car to fetch him some crayons and a toy to distract him. When I returned my husband was standing at the back of the restaurant (where no one was seated, in fact there were only about three tables occupied in the whole place) trying to calm my son down. As I approached him, a gray-haired man whom I assume is the owner/manager told my husband to "take it outside" as other customers were complaining. He was extremely brusque and rude. If he had approached us politely it would have been fine but his tone was simply unacceptable. We promptly left and I told him that we specifically asked if we could bring the children in and he should put up a sign if he doesn't want children in his establishment. A couple at another table were outraged on our behalf and immediately assured us they had not complained and were sorry we had to leave. Pros: Seemed quiet Cons: Not child friendly. Rude owner/manager.
