My daughter's wedding was on Jan 25th, 2013. We were referred to Sounds Unlimited by a co worker. We went to the Seattle Wedding expo nearly a year before the wedding. I expl to them that we were having a ""winter wedding"" and asked for floating snowflakes. For an extra $100 they assured me the light show would be spectacular. The wedding was held at the Marysville Opera house and the guy who sold the package was like, ""oh yea, we've done lots of weddings there. We'll meet with you ahead of time and set up the lights in the balcony so the whole room will have floating snowflakes."" They never went in ahead of time and the floating snowflakes were 3 snowflakes floating in the corner of the room. 2nd, they emailed my daughter something thru email where she was supposed to log into this site and load all her wedding songs. My daughter is a A type personality and had everything done and ready to go when their website crashed. It didn't do it once but 3 times. she finally got it to accept a few songs but, nothing like what she had originally planned. The dj showed up, I assume he was in a tux, to be honest I don't remember. What I do remember is that music was average, I could have rented a sound system for less and used my ipod and would have had the same effect. The dj brought in some light globe that I could have purchased at toys r us to reflect globes of colored light on the dance floor and, the extra $100 I spent on snowflakes was not worth the additional money spent. All in all, If all you can afford is the basic $1,000 package, save your money, rent a glorified karoke machine and plug in your I-pod.
