Review content:
I took my Subaru to Cooper Tire to get a new turbo installed. The mechanic broke the new oil line parts that were supposed to be installed. Needless to say they didn't even tell me this (we found the brand new but broken parts laying on the ground next to the car). \r
\r
Things got much worse. The turbo was incorrectly installed (Tom Wood Subaru later inspected the car and Stoker, the service advisor, told me the intake was not cleared of debris and the engine was not flushed properly). This lead to the immediate development of a rod knock which means the car now needs a new engine. \r
\r
The owner of Cooper Tire, Dr. Bob Williams, told me he couldn't not fix the engine because his store hadn't made enough money this year.\r
\r
The estimate to fix is over $5,000. And that doesn't even include what I paid them for improperly installing the turbo. Or the 5 months that they've had the car!\r
\r
To add insult to injury Cooper Tire lost my keys.
