I recently went to a Jiffy Lube owned place which now goes by Salina Quick Lube Plus, and if you want the run around..go to one of these..They try to sell you every product and service they have and tell you everything you need to have done. I had a coupon that I tried to use, but they had a special on the same thing, so it was no good...then they showed me all the filters i needed, and how much they were, they actually over priced the filters x2. I checked at my regular auto shop and for $14 air filter, they wanted $33 and for another that runs $22, they wanted $44. They also wanted to stop an oil leak i had with some of their goo...I said no...I stood behind what i came there for knowing I was already paying way to much, but it was the holiday and I was leaving town....They are high pressure salesman and I feel sorry for anyone that can't say ""NO"".....I still hate Penzoil, but I knew what I was getting, and it was winter time and I wasn't going to crawl under my vehicle in the cold on the weekend. I do not recommend any of these places unless, like me this time, you must get it done..The people were very polite and nice, but I hate high pressure salesman that try to give you a ""GOOD DEAL"" as they say and I knew what I was possibly walking into, I had been screwed by a similar company 15 years ago, going in for an cheap change and being charged $50 later. I should have known!!!
