This is the 4th time I have been fortunate to use the data recovery services at X Files Recovery, owned and operating by the very capable, knowledgeable, and caring Chris Ionescu!\r
In the past, Chris had effectively and securely restored 100% of the data from the completely failed harddrives for both my non-profit and I, each time making sure that I was able to non only retrieve the data, but also in one case, restoring it for me onto an identical drive so that I can simply insert the new drive into the workstation and continue working!\r
As an engineer and technical consultant by education & trade, and a life-long computer specialist, I have experienced my fair share of harddrive failures and forensic restorations, and X Files Recovery services were not only more than half the price of the other companies I've used and/or researched, but also more effective, reliable, and easy to work with. To top it all off, X Files Recovery are the only truly local service to Boston, with all the other services that have local branches simply shipping the drives to their out-of-state facilities (which can introduce additional risk to the harddrives).\r
This time around, the harddrive for the work computer I was given by the publishing company for which I serve as a Media Producer, experienced a serious failure and was no longer bootable. I had most of the data backed-up but the most recent data was very important, and with this being a super-busy time of the year at our company, it was paramount that I get the data recovered expeditiously and as quickly as possible. The failure occurred 3 days before Christmas, and the next day I got approval from the company to deliver the harddrive to Chris for analysis. Chris analysed the drive over night (at no charge) and determined that he would be able to recover all or most of the data, and at such a great price that the service was approved within minutes by the director of our company's team! Surely enough, within 3 days (a super-quick turnaround), Chris completed the recovery, sent me a list of the files to review & approve, and placed the data onto an external drive that I could borrow until I complete restoring the backup to my workstation and to the new computer I was to receive from tech support at the publishing company. The result was that I received a 99.9% data recovery with only one folder of data missing, and was allowed to keep the data harddrive for 2 weeks at no additional charge until I completed all the restoration & verification tasks necessary. Chris' outstanding service got me right back on track with my work deadlines, my bosses were extremely happy, and our tech support team was amazed.\r
I hope that Chris' continued excellent work will result in an increase in clients and recognition, which would be the least way of repaying X Files Recovery for their superlative services!!!\r
