Review content:
I recently went to Taylor's Alterations to have a bridesmaid dress taken out in the bust and hemmed appropriately. Upon showing the dress and having measurements taken, I was told the dress would be completed within two days. Great.\r
\r
Two days later I went back to retrieve my dress. I tried the dress on once more after alterations to see how it fit. After the two women at Taylor's Alterations struggled and tugged, trying to get me into my dress, I was told by the seamstress ""You would really benefit from losing five to ten pounds."" I looked to make sure that there was enough material to take out...there absolutely was. Instead of acknowledging that she didn't let out enough material on the dress that I brought to her with the intention of having it made larger in the bust, she gave me unwarranted, unwanted life advice. \r
\r
Furthermore, when all was said and done after a second alteration was made on this dress, they charged me $110.00. The ridiculous price of these alterations cost me more than the bridesmaid dress did. I will NEVER be giving these women my business ever again and I highly advise that you don't either...unless you have a self esteem (and wallet) of steel. I have since found another, more reliable seamstress and I will be taking my business there for now on.
