The technician AAA sent to my home to fix a burst pipe was friendly and knowledgable, but the prices he quoted to me we're unbelievably high. Unfortunately, by that time he had already cut into the sheetrock ($172) and let the pipe drain for about 45 mins ($345), so including the trip fee of ($49), I was out $567 before the repair even started. They quoted another $1038 for the repair, so I declined, called a plumber in my area who came an hour later and did the repair (using soldered pieces instead of the cheaper shark bite solution AAA was going to use). He charged me $95. I'll not call AAA again.
