Review content:
I bought a Lexus from Auto City in Fredericksburg, VA in November 2013. They talk about how customer service is the most important thing to them and how people just keep coming back and they couldn't have been nicer and more professional. Well, all that changed once they had my money. \r \r After a few days, the right front tire lost air. Not a big deal. I filled it and went on. A few days later, it was flat again. I stopped at a tire store and they explained that the tire had been plugged in a spot where a plug should not have been used because it would never hold up.\r \r But what bothered me even more was that they pointed out that the tires on the car did not meet the manufacturer's standards, that they were under rated for the vehicle weight and were a safety hazard. \r \r When I spoke to my salesman Josh, he hummed and hawed and said that he would have to speak with the Auto City owner, Wali and get back to me but that they replace tires all the time. No one ever seems to be able to reach the owner, especially when he is in the Maryland Auto City store. This dragged on for a couple of weeks of having to re-inflate the tire every other day, when I had had enough and pushed Josh to get me an answer immediately. He said he would get back to me the next day. I didn't hear anything for two days so I called him. He came up with what Auto City called a solution. They would sell me a new set of tires at their cost, which was about the same as the price I could get anytime from NTB if I bought four tires. I asked what percentage of the cost Auto City was going to pay since they sold me a car with unsafe tires in the first place. Josh responded that the tires were my problem and that they were doing me a favor by getting them at their cost and that's all Auto City was prepared to do.\r \r Save yourself the hassle. Go half a mile in either direction on US 1 and you'll find a bunch of other used car dealers. I can't vouch for any of them but I do know about my experience with Auto City and I'd be willing to take my chances with just about any of the others.
