I have now attended a number of events at The Mitchell House and Gardens, including the weddings and receptions of friends and co-workers; a birthday celebration for my aunt; and a fashion show. Just last year, I helped plan a bridal brunch for my niece. I love coming to events at The Mitchell House and can't wait to go there again!\r \r When we planned the bridal luncheon, we ordered one of the brunch menus which was lavish and a hit with all of the family -- especially the shrimp and grits which were sauteed in the garden by a very talented cook who worked hard to keep up with the orders. Everyone wanted seconds (and probably even thirds)!\r \r We also asked them to do flowers for the tables, and I was amazed at the creativity and quality. We paid much less that we had been quoted at other places, and the flowers were breathtakingly beautiful.
