Review content:
The process started a little rough, but the smooth ending more than made up for the bump. I contacted 3 roofing companies after suspecting I had roof storm damage. 2 of the 3 came in with bids in the $7500-8000 range, but EBS (this company) originally gave me a bid over $10,500. I was stunned by the bid, but the consistently strong Angie's List reviews for this company made me want to try to figure out what happened. I called one of the co-owners (Leo) directly and told him the situation - he was very surprised and also wanted to find out the problem. Turns out I had a newbie salesman who simply messed up the bid. This incident is the only reason I gave them a B on price. But Leo went way above and beyond to try to get my business after I called him. He was at my house on my roof himself within 24 hours and came in with this bid of $7910, including the ridge vents and architectural shingles.
