Review content:
I took my truck into the Les Schwab in Manteca for an alignment since our regular mechanic does not do this service. After they had my truck for a few minutes the serviceman came out to tell me that I needed to approve him replacing the front bearing before I do the alignment. If I didn't replace this for a total of an estimated $392.35 (with the alignment) the customer service said I would have to pay even more for a factory part (starting at $800) plus the $392.35. I took my truck in for a second opinion since Les Schwab did not have any additional appointments for the remainder of the day. A few hours later, my regular mechanic had driven and provided manual testing and found the truck to be in perfect condition NOT requiring any service or bearing replacement!! I was shocked that Les Schwab would outright LIE about doing a service that was NOT needed in order to charge me an additional $336.10 plus the cost of the alignment and use scare tactics as well. I will NEVER go back
