Review content:
When our cat, Mr. Lucky, suddenly became sick, we were beside ourselves. He was an active, outdoor/indoor cat who loved to hunt. At 4:00 P.M. we rushed him to Dr. Riley. She ran a battery of tests and stayed after hours, as did her technician. After many tests we learned that there was fluid around his heart and his kidneys were shutting down. She taught us how to administer I.V. fluids and was honest about telling us what our choices were as far as taking him to a specialist, waiting until the next day, etc. It was an extremely heart-wrenching time for us and we beat ourselves up because we didn't pick up on any symptoms. Dr. Riley was quick to point out that cats are often difficult to read and continued to support us as we pursued his steps to recovery. I can't thank her and the staff enough for taking so much time with us. The bill was very reasonable for the tests, treatment, and time spent. Thanks!
