I'd visited this corner store in Ridgewood twice before realizing that there was a full pharmacy! And a compounding pharmacy at that. I've purchased several excellent products here not found elsewhere such as Aladerm cream for dry skin.
What attracted me to this apothecary (don't you love this name) was the outstanding selection of fine and hard to find cosmetics that are only for the most discriminating beauty lovers. In addition, to upscale brands like Clarins, Stila, Paula Dorf, Benefit and Crabtree & Evelyn, they stock chic, trendy and "must have" accessories that will leave your wallet empty because you'll want one of everything! Terrific place to buy a gift for yourself or friends--they even gift wrap for free.
I travel here when I want to learn about a brand and its application from their expert makeup artists. They also do consultations and special occasion makeup for a fee. This is a great place to try out the latest colors and learn the proper application.
All the latest and trendiest brands are here--current season colors. They also have samples which you can ask for--helps in trying out new brands.
Standard pharmacy items are also stocked here and they will special order products and ship them to you. Exceptional service with a smile.
