Review content:
There simply aren't enough rides. I know money ran short towards the end of construction, and I also know that there are plans to expand the park in the future. But for now, they can't justify charging as much as they do for Disneyland with such limited attractions. Also, the lack of mature trees in this new park creates a big problem in summer -- no shade. This is especially bad when it's over 100 degrees outside.
Regardless of whatever promotions they market to try and entice you to come here during the dog days of August, don't do it.
On the positive side, the rides they do have are a lot of fun (Hollywood Limo excluded). Soarin Over California is a wonderful experience for all ages. The rollercoaster blows anything at Disneyland out of the water. The Maliboomer is intense. The bees are fun, too.
