Old Fashioned changed 3 U-Joints in my driveshaft late Nov/13 during our yearly resort stay at Lehigh Resort Club. Following the repair I experienced sever vibration in the drive shaft starting just above 50 mph. They said the problem was a hanger bearing. I drove home to Ontario Canada not exceeding 50 mph, took it to a driveline specialist. They said the driveshaft had been crushed in a vise & beaten with a harmer so badly it had to be replaced.\r
The hanger bearings were ok. I was shocked since this garage was recommended by two people.
