Review content:
Becareful of this company. After over 50 years of being a loyal customer they really put the screws to my grandmother. The technician, who was there on a routine scheduled service call to replace the filter, told her two capacitors in her ...unit were bad and needed to be replaced. She agreed to have them changed. After the work the work was completed he presented her a bill for over $450. He then went next door and did the same exact thing. From there he went to the next house and did it again. So that is three houses in a row, right next to each other that got charged over $450 each for replacement of two capacitors and the normal service under their contract. The three bills looked like carbon copies of each other. \r
I did a little research and found out the capacitors changed, can be purchased by HVAC companies for under a cost to yhem of $10.00. The total charged for these two parts was $374.00. \r
All three of these customers are elderly single women living mostly on fixed incomes. I called the service department to voice my concerns about this, in my opinion, gross overcharge. After telling her I knew about how much these parts cost, she the says ""it isn't what a part costs us but what we can sell it for"". \r
Just wanted to put that out there for the community to see what is going on when you use a company that has technicians that work on commision.\r
