In search of a new vet, I occasionally put them to the test, in order to find a vet that cares more about my pet’s health than money. \r
So I brought my cat, Linny, (who was diagnosed with a heart murmur) to multiple vet offices and asked for their vet’s quick opinion- listen to his heart and tell me if it sounds like a problem I should have checked out, or a minor, harmless murmur. Let me start by saying that every one of these vets had an empty waiting room and plenty of time on their hands to spend a measly 2 minutes with me to offer their professional advice. The vet didn’t even HAVE to talk to me- I would have been content with a tech bringing him to the back, letting the vet check him, and then passing along the message to me.\r
After being ignored by multiple vets who told me they wouldn’t spend a second with my cat without a full exam for no less than $50, I explained that he’s already had a full exam with blood work that came back normal- I just wanted verification he
