I brought my dog there to be spayed. They anesthetized her and called the house to say she was in heat before continuing the procedure. Since they we unable to talk with anyone in the 5 minute window of calling the house they did not perform the procedure.\r

We spoke with them and they said that since she was in heat they would have to charge us hundreds more plus additional charges bringing the total to near $500.\r

We decided to look elsewhere. Note we had the ""friends of animals"" coupon and the spaying was suppose to only cost around $90 for the coupon + medication afterwards.\r

The second place we took her to performed the spaying and accepted the coupon. They said the dog was not in heat and only charged us additionally for the medication afterwards. Thus the spaying cost us $90 for the coupon + medication afterwards totaling around $130.\r

I believe the doctor at this place lied to us about the dog being in heat. Then the office wanted to add ridiculous costs and was determined to get around $500 for the spaying. This was an inconvenient and unsettling experience for us.\r

Obviously we'll never go back there again.
