Shaw's Karate - We consider Shaw's to be the best school in Durham and the best outlet for our children. Your kids will not only get top-notch personalized instruction on karate, but also be challenged to have fun through it all. The ultimate outcome is that your children will benefit in total body control in areas of balance, flexibility, core body strength, and stamina. What makes Shaw's different is that you will love watching the special interaction he has with students of all ages (children and adults) and the life lessons he weaves throughout the sessions. If you're like me, you will be reminded to have a good attitude, try your best, and push yourself to a new level. Many adult parents find themselves wanting to take classes as well and have enrolled. My entire family now attends Shaw's. We love it! Mr. Shaw offers something very unique in the are of karate - character lessons and challenge for all students, whether children or adults, to be better in every aspect of their lives. We feel very blessed to have him in our corner of the triangle! \r

We've had our children enrolled at other places in the Triangle area, and the instructors don't seem to engage with the children. Further they cost so much more. At Shaw's your child will develop a connection as will you with the instructor and assistants and will certainly feel motivated to do their best. This makes his school unique.
