Soto21, I have to question if you really work on Benning or if you are an employee of the complex. When my car was broken into, I was told “it happens everywhere”. The laundry room and Fitness center are a joke; the stuff is broken and outdated. I doubt they are even cleaned or taken care of on regular bases. They do repair things in a timely fashion, but that is about all they do in a timely fashion. There is a lot of military in this complex because it’s cheap, and the deals make it appealing. \r \r My point of view is complex, when I first moved in I had no issues. As time has gone by I have been plagued with moving or staying and finishing out my lease. Honestly, I believe the manager has her handful, I have seen 3-4 front desk people in my 8 months living here. \r It’s often noisy during the week, and the weekend it’s worse. When I moved in I signed a paper about cleaning up my pets waste, and my guest not causing issues. Well, these are things others do not honor, and the manager doesn’t enforce.. Overall if you opt to move here, you will have a low deposit and they will allow most pets. Don’t be fooled by the fancy words they use, or promises. I have been told by the security guy that he is NOT 24 hours. There is no way to contact him without dealing with the manager. \r \r I have only had issues with the noisy aspect and my car being broken into; doing your laundry here is expensive and machine’s do not always work or are out of order. The fitness center has an old treadmill and a few weight things. As I do not have children, I cannot tell you if the play areas are safe. As Danni did state parents often do not watch their children. \r Legacy Estates overall is affordable to students and whomever else is on a budget. The detective that took my information when my car was broken into stated to me “You need to move out of here, you are in the ghetto.” Police will do a drive by here if you ask, and they do show up in a timely fashion when you need them. The lighting outside is horrible at night, and as a woman I have come home to see people lurking into cars. \r \r I cannot compare this place to the places I have lived before, as this place is below my standard of living. I needed a place fast, and I couldn’t wait due to my transfer as I do have a pet. I opted for this instead of a hotel. Just use your own judgment in the end.\r
