I had a procedure with Dr. Shapiro in June of 2012, an Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty with Fat Transfer to the cheekbones and Facelift. He was recommended by another doctor that I had. I came to Dr. Shapiro and he really just made me feel better about it, though. The procedure was what I expected and he prepped me for everything. Following the procedure, the recovery was pretty easy, and he prepped me pretty well, so I knew what to expect. The follow-up care from the doctor has been excellent. He has continued to see me all the way through and just make me feel OK about the healing process and everything. I love the results. What I like most is that my eyes were my biggest concern and so it was kind of his major concern. I just am so pleased with how they came out. Then, he did some Fat Transfer into my cheekbones, which I wasn’t considering, but I'm glad that he did it because I love the way that turned out. Everything looks really natural, so that made me very happy. No one knows, people just think I look good but no one can tell that I've had anything done. Dr. Shapiro is very knowledgeable. He listens to your concern and to what's important to you. He understands what's important to you, I think. The staff at his office is very friendly. Overall it's been a stupendous experience.
