Review content:
We've eaten at Basil several times. We stubled upon the restaurant by accident, and our first meal was wonderful--great food and great service. Our second experience was somewhat dissappointing, as the orange roughy we ordered was about as tender and tasty as shoe leather. Each trip to Basil gets worse and worse. On our last trip, we saw our waiter only twice during the meal--when he took our order and when he brought the check. I have NEVER had worse service ANYWHERE! I could forgive such terrible service at some places, but when a meal costs over $80.00 I expect the waiter to at least refill my drink. Needless to say, we'll never be returning to Basil. It's really a shame, because this restaurant has potential.
