Review content:
I recently re-located to st. Louis from Chicago (but originally from a small town) and was in desperate need of a last minute haircut after nearly 3 1/2 years of growing it out, but with no professional care or attention; I was so anxious, especially when I learned of the amount that would have to be ""chopped"" before an upcoming surgery; friends had given me recommendations to several salons offering discounts for the referral, but after dinner across the street last weekend I noticed ""Salon Dacota"" and remembered hearing many talk of their positive experience; I was only on the phone with Jen for less than 30 seconds when I knew this was the salon. They were highly accommodating and sensitive to my time frame and I had an appointment set with Nicole; I went in expecting a haircut I was dreading and would hate and came out with more than I could have asked; It may sound cheesy, but Nicole was wonderful- I could go on and on but words do not justice to my experience; from the beginning to end, I was treated and given patience, time, and respect while walking away with an amazing haircut that everyone, including myself, loves, but so many tips and styling advice. Nicole spent nearly 1 1/2 hours with me; never once was she pushy nor did I feel uncomfortable or awkward in conversing; her expertise and experience clearly showed in all areas; Salon Dacota went above and beyond any salon I have been to, atmosphere included; you get so much, yet still are given very, very, affordable prices; I can't wait to set up my appointment to get my hair colored with Nicole! I know if I stay in St. Louis, Salon Dacota, with no doubt, is my place to go!! Thank you!
