Review content:
I had a similar experience to Tara K. Our arrival was December 6 2013. It was raining when we arrived and found parking to be treacherous and limited. It was so poorly lit I had to have my wife navigate me out because I could not turn around. Once inside we were greeted by a rather friendly hostess who took us to our table. For appetizer I ordered crab soup and she ordered oysters Rockefeller. My soup was just vegetable soup with crabmeat on top just ok nothing special. My wife did enjoy the oysters. For entrée I ordered salmon and crab cake. She ordered the filet with crab cake. When my food arrived I must say I was eager to bite in a and enjoy but, that's where things deteriorated rapidly. The salmon was grossly undercooked and raw in the middle. The crab cake was ok not great but ok. When the waiter arrived I asked him to please make sure my salon was fully cooked upon return. As I waited my wife was trying to enjoy the filet and a crab cake with meat juice. The filet was ok but, the crab cake tasted like steak being that it was on top (not stated by the waiter) not a good combo. When my salmon arrived the second time it was still slightly undercooked. I stated to the waiter to remove the fish and take it off my bill. He said ""No problem"". long story short. The waiter said he could not remove the fish because I had taken a bite. Wait, What. The manager walked over to me and asked me if I had ordered the fish medium or semi-cooked. I mean really I had never heard of such a thing. Just wait this gets better. She explained it was my fault I had taken a bit and I must pay for it OR ELSE. Well, by this point we are back and forth getting louder and louder until Mr. Boston came over and wanted in on the action. He was insulting and said I was a layer and I had eaten the fish and refused a refund. I got up and said take this off my bill or I will voice a complaint. He said I am the owner and got DIRECTLY IN MY FACE and said NO. Pay the bill and leave. Now this is in front of employees and patrons. He tried to humiliate my wife and I in front of everyone. He then yelled call the police. I wanted him to. I wanted to settle this without it escalating any further. He walked over to my wife and yelled at her. How rude can you be. This is a 5 star establishment. By now he yelled and I mean yelled get out REDNECK. NO LIE he said REDNECK clear as day. Racial slur and slander. I was contacted by a lawyer to cease and stop all negative reviews. Can you believe this guy. Please if anyone reading this has similar experiences please contact me. I have gotten no apologies. just threats. I would not take the time to write this if I was not so, passionate.
