Five Star really is home away from home for our dogs. Before we discovered Five Star, my husband and I were unable to take vacations because we just couldn't trust anyone with our dogs (nor could anyone handle our dogs). Not only do we have three large dogs, but two of them had behavioral issues when we rescued them. We sent our dog Roman through the 2-week boot camp and the training has forever changed our lives, but more importantly, Roman's life. The owner and trainer, Darrin, also worked with our German Shepherd mix and helped her to overcome her fears. Aside from the incredible experience we had with the training, we absolutely love the boarding facility. It is always clean and doesn't smell at all like a kennel. They also offer different types of rooms, as well as extra playtime sessions at a very reasonable price. Our hound mix really loves the indoor/outdoor suite that is offered, so we are at ease knowing that she has the option to go outside and enjoy the fresh air whenever she pleases. Lastly, I have to mention the staff at Five Star. Darrin is truly gifted at training, and he has also hired a very friendly and compassionate staff. Stephanie is one of our favorites and she is always so understanding when we call to check on our dogs...and we call often. Since we found Five Star, my husband and I have been able to enjoy many vacations and we always know that our dogs are in great hands! For us, Five Star truly deserves five stars!!!
