Thomas Weatherford estimated the cost of my uncontested divorce to be close to $1200, which I paid on the spot. After 26 days of not hearing anything from the lawyer's office, I called to see what the status was. Magically, the papers were delivered several days later to my ex to sign (Her name was mispelled.) I called to inform him of the error. A month after the proceedings concluded, I got an itemized bill with charges for both of those calls. I called and even took time off work to go to the office to try to resolve the discrepencies. He was not there, so I left my card and asked to have him call me. After another month of no contact, I recieved another bill; this time for extra fees totaling $340.00. I am in the Army. I understand unforseen issues. But, when the (hopefully) final cost is $1598.70, (Almost a third again more than the quoted price!), there is a major issue! My recommendation, there are less expensive options with better service.
