Colonial Village is a really nice place to live - it's located on the east side of the Merrimack River in the north end of Manchester, so it's very close to the downtown area (Elm St., et al), which is why I chose it over the west-Merrimack River complexes in this price range (Washington Park Estates, Greenview Village, etc.). The third-floor, 980-sq-ft., two-bedroom deluxe apartment in which I reside alone has brand-new everything (vinyl flooring, carpeting, kitchen appliances, and medicine cabinet) due to the fact that the previous tenants liked to live in squalor. Outta sight, outta mind on what it looked like before I moved in, but oh well! The closet space is generous and all of the rooms are spacious. The balcony is spacious as well. The clubhouse, pools, and other amenities are pretty good, but nothing spectacular. I'm looking forward to using the pools in the summer, though! I moved to CV in February 2007, so I haven't seen the grounds at their most impressive yet. I love the f
