Review content:
Selecting a mover is easy, right? Not so fast: take a look around and you'll read lots of horror stories about bait-and-switch tactics, stolen property and broken possessions. I've personally known people who've had this happen to them, so when my wife and I moved to our new home, I relied heavily on online reviews to ferret out the best choice.\r \r The reviews here for A Team seemed uniformly positive and real. I called them and Brian came down to give me an estimate two days later. Unlike another company whose estimator walked in and provided an 'estimate' after looking at my apartment contents in 30 seconds, Brian took the time to count all the pieces of furniture, and the general contents of the room. When he gave me an estimate after spending a half-hour doing so, I thought it was fair price, honestly arrived at. He also informed me that the estimate was the max price we'd pay for the job - no hidden charges afterwards. I booked the job with them the next day for the following week.\r \r There is a great deal to be said about a business that says what it does and then does what it says. Brian had warned us that our job was large enough that the move would take two days, and he was absolutely right. On the first day, three men showed up and began carefully wrapping our large furniture items and removing items room by room, working their way from the front to the rear of our home. In the afternoon, we met them at our new home and they unloaded everything they'd packed during the morning. They were patient during a time when my wife and I were both mentally scattered from spending weeks packing and coordinating a new home purchase, and they didn't seem to mind whenever we weren't sure of something or changed our minds later.\r \r Day two was more of the same, except now we were getting down to the dregs of our old home's contents - and the dregs weren't in boxes. Four movers arrived that day and removed every item big and small, while boxing up those items for us that we hadn't yet gotten to. At the end of the job, I sat down with Brian and settled up the bill. It seems we had exceeded the number of hours he had originally estimated for the job; but true to his word, the final charge was exactly what we had agreed on.\r \r In the end, all our stuff was moved efficiently and carefully and with no surprises. A Team Movers are truly pros at what they do, and I'm delighted to recommend them wholeheartedly. \r \r Just make sure you tip these guys good. They deserve it; they truly do.\r
