Review content:
This evening I ordered the Sam's Scallops, Portobello Ravioli, and a side salad with homemade ranch dressing.
The food arrived quickly and still hot. The bacon-wrapped scallops were melt-in-my-mouth delicious; the bacon crisp and the scallops soft and buttery.
I'd never had SamB's Portobello Ravioli but it is now a favorite local dish. The ravioli are served with tomatoes and spinach, the fresh, ripe tomatoes are uncooked, while the spinach is cooked, and the delicious dish soaks in a bath of herb olive oil. The raviolis were cooked to perfection with the portobellos savory and rich in flavor.
Even the salad was a treat:crisp endives and veggies. No cheap iceberg lettuce here. And the homemade ranch was among the best I'd ever tasted.
I'm looking forward to having this meal again and I'd recommend anyone hungry for quality cuisine sample SamB's.
